Twenty-nine years of professional experience with emphasis in the contractual and commercial aspects of building and civil engineering projects. Extensive experience in U.K., Middle East and Asia Pacific in pre and post contract administration, commercial and contractual management, risk analysis of contract, final accounts, contractual claims and disputes management.

Experienced in all forms of construction with particular regard to the financial and contractual management of projects.

Transferred to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1992 and in May 1993 founded Plus 3 Consultants office in Kuala Lumpur as Director (Asia-Pacific). Specialising in claims management, arbitration and litigation and has experience in preparation of pleadings, expert witness role on matter of quantum, time and contract interpretation. Qualified as a Mediator under the CIDB training scheme. Regular speaker at conferences and seminars. Member of the CIDB Malaysia Design and Build Contract Drafting Committee.

Twenty-Nine years experience in the Construction Industry. Initial eight years spent as a Quantity Surveyor in the United Kingdom with short-term secondment to France and Bahrain. Overseas resident experience in Middle East and Asia Pacific providing contract administration, project and cost control, contract drafting and interpretation, the assessment of disputes, arbitration services, tender support to contractors and drafting of bid documents for end user clients.

Familiarity with variety of procurement methods and the development of project control procedures.

Experience of dealing with projects involving combinations of local and international consultants and contractors. Arbitration work has included drafting of pleadings and witness statements, representation of parties and acting as expert on matters of quantum.
